Joanne Nosuchinsky is a New York based actress who was named Miss New York USA 2013; she also works as a bartender, which she jokes about on the show. She made her Red Eye debut on September 17, 2013 and appeared very frequently from thereon after.
On February 3, 2014, it was announced on the air that she had become a permanent member of the panel. This upset many longtime Red Eye fans, who saw her as a "replacement" for Bill Schulz, who left the show the previous November and is still very popular amongst the fan base. In February, Red Eye had one of its largest, if not THE largest, one-month decline in ratings in the show's history.(source) Whether this can be attributed to the addition of Nosuchinsky or not cannot be determined.
