Paul Provenza is an actor, comedian and filmmaker who appeared on Red Eye on May 20, 2010. He is generally considered the worst guest in the show's history. During his episode, he gave incorrect information insisting it was factual, repeatedly talked out of turn and pestered Ann Coulter to the point where Coulter, who was seated next to Provenza, switched chairs with Remi Spencer, who originally was in the leg chair.
Ultimately, he was listed on the "Red Eye's In Memoriam: They're not Dead, they're just dead to us" list for 2010.
More recently, on the February 18, 2014 episode, Greg laments at the actions of Guest Paul Mecurio that he is "making me miss Paul Provenza".
