Courtney Friel is an entertainment reporter for KTTV-TV in Los Angeles. Prior to this, she worked for Fox News in the same capacity. A former Red Eye guest, Friel appeared quite frequently during her tenure on the show. As she is now based in L.A., future appearances are an impossibility.
She participated in the New York's Funniest Reporter competition in 2011. Other Red Eye guests who have competed include Lauren Sivan and Alison Rosen, who both won their competitions.
